Hayley Orrantia, an American performer, actress and songwriter. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". Her primary focus is as a performer. Music is her first love she maintains; it is something she's dabbled at when she was nine years old. By the time she reached age 12 she was taking music seriously enough to begin professional training. In 2013, she took on songwriting and produced her debut album. The music hasn't budged to the past since. Orrantia is a native of America who has Hispanic roots. She is a native of Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English as a child and her whole life was in the United States. She strives to keep it alive by studying Spanish and creating songs in the language. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics that she's recorded is a good example. Orrantia participated in The X Factor season 1's auditions during the summer 2011. Orrantia was chosen from an YouTube video and was awarded 4 "yes" no votes by jury during the live audition phase at Seattle, Washington. The first time she was auditioning for soloist, she along with three female vocalists were placed together for the remaining auditions in "Hollywood Week". The group was eliminated at the fifth week during the live shows.
