Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March press conference on the show that Coleman will portray Matt Smith's companion following the departure of Karen Gillan left. Moffat claimed that he selected Coleman to be the companion due to her ability to work best with Smith. In addition, Moffat noted that she spoke faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been active in the world of film since 1987. Eva has been prominent on TV than in films. Eva has had many TV characters, however the roles of Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children and Detective Natalia Boavistas from CSI Miami have stood out. The role that she first appeared on television earned 2 Daytime Emmy nominations, and gave her the opportunity to explore her love for music. Eva is an entrepreneur in addition to an actress. The actress has three marriages and has one daughter along with her husband.
