Pickler grew up in a difficult environment. The mother she had left when she was only two in order to get out of an abusive relationship. In 1995, she returned back to the world of Pickler, and took the custody rights. But things did not turn out the way she had hoped. Pickler went back to her grandparents when she turned 12 years old.
