Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American author, singer and actress well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. Then, she appeared on Broadway for a number of productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it huge at the National Theater. In 1957, she launched her first album of music called It's time for Tina. Louise was first seen in Hollywood with God's Little Acre, a film which was made in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda who was a character from the movie. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships and friendship with Lee Strasberg. She signed on with CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work with ease between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles opposed to her image as an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she's also earned a name for herself as an accomplished director on various well-known television shows such as Supernatural or The 100. Her birth date was 28 August 1965 in Essex. At the age of 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained to Toronto since then.
