Zoe-perry

Perry is the daughter of actors Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. Her first appearances were on the screen in the role of Jackie Harris, a character that was played by her mother on her role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne. Parents, however, did not want her to perform until she turned an adult, fearing the effects of stress. Perry did not like school and wasn't a good actor. The actress began her acting career in the year 2000 at Northwestern University to gain friends when she transferred from Boston University. Perry, after graduating from Boston University, moved from Boston to New York in search of TV roles. Her small part was in television shows, such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, homesickness brought her back to California to find theater work. In 2013 she performed in The Other Place on Broadway with her mother. In the year 2015, she was alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning Drama Anna Christie. It is part of the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of The Family, an ABC film The Family in 2016. Perry was a regular character in the ABC politics drama Scandal, starring her dad. That same year she played a young model of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory) as her mother in a youthful version. It was her first part despite the close familial connection to the character.
